In becoming accustomed to wakeboards that have a slew of bottom features I was initially expecting the design style of Slingshot wakeboards to loose but after a slight learning curve I found that the tracking is a dream and manuvaring into surface tricks was an unbelievable ease due to the lack of parimeter molded fins. The Slingshot Recoil also has amazingly explosive pop with a feather like impact on landings that made me want to really push the amount of height I could get and a little bit of play when landing flat on the board allows you to easily slide into an edge when landing slightly crooked.

This wakeboard is super forgiving and an all around great board no matter what kind of ride you are looking for as the handling, pop and smooth landings are all there for beginner to expert riders.

I have been excited to test out Slingshot's flex design. It took some getting use to but I can't imagine another wakeboard design giving more control with smooth pop of the wake and silky soft landings. This Slingshot wakeboard definitely feels like it absorbed the energy from the impact for feather landings. I am sure that if you give this wakeboard a few runs it will be enough for you to feel the difference.
