This board handles great on all types of snow including hard packed. The Podium K2 Snowboard handled with ease into sidecuts and kept a solid hold on the snowboards edge with dampened vibrations even at fast speeds.
I would have to say that it is considerably above a beginner board. This snowboard produces a lot of pop off of a pipe lip or straight jumps.
To top it off this board features some great graphics with unique lighting from different angles. It is definitely a high performance snowboard and one of the top K2 snowboards with the type of look to match that will be able to keep up as your skills develop, just price shop. |

I recently purchased this board to replace my old Burton snowboard. The Zeppelin K2 snowboard is a much lighter but I felt like I was putting a lot of leg work into maintaining the snowboard at slower speeds.
Once I got a feel for this board though it really has a lot of control from edge to edge transitions to turning and stopping on a dime. It is a great all around snowboard with flex and control. I would recommend picking it up a Zeppelin if you have a chance to find a deal, it is a rockin K2 snowboard. |

Good to hear, sounds like a great change from the 2006 Zepplin's that we got a chance to ride. We had heard great things about this snowboard but it turned out to be a dull day of riding.
This board has no caber to it and little to no pop. It felt like a lifeless board with no flex and I had to say that I did not feel confident in really testing out this snowboards edges with any type of speed.
Turned out to be a disappointing stick I would consider other options for your next snowboard. |

I have to disagree strongly, after demoing the 156 Zepplin K2 Snowboard it is definitely near the top of my list. This snowboard had tight control on its edge and had the right amount of flex for added pop. I had no prolblem holding an edge and releasing when I needed. It is a very light board that allowed me to spin with ease but had just the right amount of mid-flex to stick landings.
I am not sure what exact size you tested, but I would have to say that even adjusting to the handling of this board on my first run I knew it was exactly what I was looking for in a snowboard.
I haven't taken the snowboard up long enough to comment on the durability but I for the price and performance I have seen thus far I would have to say this is a quality purchase all around. |
