The 2007 Decade Ride snowboard has held up great so far even though it has been beat on untracked snow.

It has a quick base and has impressive speed that accelerates quickly but does seem to need more constant waxing. This particular Ride snowboard held its edge very easily at high speeds. Even though it lacks the mobility when transitioning out of a curve and has less flexibility then I would prefer in a snowboard, it does well on groomed snow and is a great buy especially compared to other snowboards in its price range.

It is great to hear that Ride snowboards has continued on its success in a solid board my 2006 Decade Ride snowboard was a great snowboard overall and I am thinking about getting another board this year. Last years board had great flex but was not as durable as I had hoped just after a couple rides. I was originally worried about the drag with this board so I hope the new Ride snowboards stay true in that aspect.

A great edge to edge transition on this board but it is good that the durability seems to have been addressed in this years snowboards.

I have to say that snowboards have improved over the years. The 2007 Ride Timeless 164 is a very fast snowboard, yet I felt like I had complete control over the board. With minimal effort I could turn on a dime through hard snow and between trees. It may not be the best snowboard for a beginner because it is so fast and agile.

There was little difference between this and the Burton snowboard I demoed but the Timeless Ride snowboard had the edge in my book.
